THE MISSION
My name is Taliah Jarvis, owner and operator of Employ Financial Services, LLC. I have always had a love for math and numbers. After becoming a young single mother, I knew I had to learn how to make my money work for me. This quickly developed into a passion for personal finance. After graduating college, with a then two-year old son, and landing my first job, I realized there was a lot I still didn't know about finances. I set out on a mission to learn all I could through research, self-teaching and application. I eventually obtained my Masters in Business Administration, which further fueled my passion for finance.
Along the way I found a budgeting method that worked for me. I was able to provide the needs and wants of my son, while having money to travel, invest and save for retirement. I began helping others by teaching them how to manage their income, no matter the amount, and providing them financial coaching along the way. Soon after I launched Employ Financial Services (EFS).
My goal with EFS is to provide the financial educational and financial services to help people begin to pursue their financial goals. There are two things that have become clear to me through my experiences. First, a budget is essential, no matter the amount of income. And last, but not least, It's never too late, or too early, to become equipped with the tools to make your money work for you.
